| the Dutch Three Cushion Open Sunday 12th January, 2003. Torbjorn Blomdahl has won the Dutch Open Three Cushion tournament in Barendrecht. The Swedish billiard player defeated Raymond Ceulemans in five sets ( 3-2: 1,512 - 1,475) in an exciting final. Ceulemans didn't go home empty handed, however. He received a prize, after the quarter finals, for having played a game out in one go. During a live broadcast on Studio Sport, Ceulemans showed once again that in 2003 he is still in top form. Last year, Ceulemans was able to win the Invitaton tournament against Semih Sayginer in Aruba. Finishing second in the Open Nederlands Kampioenschappen Three Cushion game, is a fantastic start to the 2003 billiard year! Congratulations Raymond. :: back |
